Meredith Mueller graduated with a BS in PT from the University of Wisconsin late in 1998. She started
her career In Albuquerque doing outpatient and acute care for two and a half years before she left to
spend the year in Mexico learning Spanish. The winter of 2003-2004 is when she started her career
permanently in Vail, where she has practiced ever since.
Meredith takes an interest in patients with spine related disorders including scoliosis, and patients with
hip, knee, shoulder disorders. She likes to keep her repertoire broad as this helps her to consider the big
picture, the entire body, when treating her patients. She has taken many continuing education courses
including level 1 and level 2 dry needling, Selective Functional Movement Assessment level 1 and many
courses addressing neurophysiology and pain by the Neuro Orthopedic Institute. She completed a
Pilates certification in Santa Fe in 2006-2007 and her transitional DPT at Regis in 2010-2011. She has
been a Sports Certified Specialist since 2006.
More recently Meredith has taken and passed C1 and C2 (3D Treatment of Scoliosis According to the
Principles of CL Schroth) through the BSPTS. She applies the principles of “Schroth” to treat adolescents
and adults with scoliosis including idiopathic scoliosis (AIS) and degenerative scoliosis. She also treats
other postural dysfunctions including hyperkyphosis including Schuermann’s disease. The Schroth
method aims to address the postural component of a scoliosis or kyphosis through postural alignment

Meredith is the Clinic Director for Axis Sports Medicine in Avon. She values connections with patients,
colleagues, physicians and many community partners including the Cycle Effect and Vail Valley
Charitable Fund.
Gentian received her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Springfield College in Massachusetts in 2001. She earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the Massachusetts General Institute of Health Professions in 2009. Gentian has been a Certified Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy since 2013 and enjoys treating all types of orthopedic patients. Gentian is a certified ski instructor and teaches skiing part-time at Vail mountain. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and is certified in Dry Needling. Her leisure time is spent skiing, reading, hiking, mountain biking, standup paddleboarding, and surfing the Glenwood Springs wave in the spring.
Katherine received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Regis University in 2017. She
became a Certified Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy in 2023 and enjoys treating all
types of orthopedic patients. Katherine has experience working with post-operative conditions
and return to sport testing following ACL reconstruction. She is certified Dry Needling and
Clinical Management of the Fitness Athlete. In her free time, Katherine enjoys skiing,
weightlifting, playing hockey, mountain biking, hiking, and exploring with her dogs.
