JAH SPRIGGS

Say hello to John or “Jah” Spriggs a world class skier and fisherman. He started skiing 29 long years ago at Vail Mountain and is still loving it today. His greatest achievement is his longevity in the sport and his pillow skiing abilities. Along with traveling around the world as a professional skier he has also had the pleasure of being a part of some ski films.

He has helped film two different ski movies called “Here After” and “The Book of Pow” both showcased to people near and far. His participation in “The Book of Pow” helped him get a nomination for Powder Magazine’s Powder Poll awards for his skiing in the film.

When Jah is not skiing he spends his time on the river fishing and enjoying helping other’s get into the sport. At just 10 years old he picked up his first fly rod, and still loves it today. He has always said skiing and fishing are his ying-and-yang, they balance each other out perfectly for him to enjoy both equally! Although, one has made him have 6 surgeries and the other is much safer.

With so many surgeries he has been lucky to have such an amazing team over at Axis Sports in Silverthrone. Emily has been really helping him at PT to getting his ROM and strength back. He had so much help from so many different people and said he feels “Truly blessed!”

He is happy to be on the Axis Ambassador team with professionals that really want to help him and see him get back to what He loves most!
