We have Physical Therapists at Axis Sports Medicine who specialize in treatment of the Pelvic Floor and have extensive education as well as board certification in this area. Our goal is to treat each and every person as an individual with unique needs, in a private and safe environment. The exam may include an internal assessment of the pelvic floor, but is not necessary to achieve your goals if this option in uncomfortable for you.
The Pelvic Health Physical Therapist will guide you in achievable goals and create an individualized treatment approach that may include a home exercise program, modified activity, manual therapy, trigger point dry needling, stretching, relaxation strategies, and strengthening.
Do not hesitate to call our office and speak with one of our Pelvic Health Physical Therapists if you have questions prior to your initial examination or wonder if Physical Therapy is appropriate for your problem.
