We are excited to share that our Silverthorne office is moving into a new space, opening on July 1! We have been in our current location in the Silverthorne Town Center for 7 years. With the incredible support of our Summit County community, we have outgrown our current space. Thanks to a generous grant from the Town of Silverthorne and countless hours of planning and hard work by staff and kind people in the community that have offered their help, we are able to relocate to an incredible space just up the road. Although we will miss our amazing neighbors, including SNAP Fitness, Red Buffalo Coffee & Tea, Sauce on the Blue and the Lake Dillon Theater, our new space will feature ample parking and double our treatment space
Our new location is right next to Murdoch’s, just a little under a mile north of our current location on the Blue River Parkway. We are increasing our space to over 3000 sq ft, adding an additional 4 beds to total 12 treatment bays. It may seem like a small detail, but we are also excited to finally have desk space for all our employees, and a place to eat our lunches. ?? We are even including a cool wall mural, featuring one of our local adventurists!
The new space has enabled us to expand our staff. (No more waitlist!!) We are thrilled to welcome Erin Jones and Max Kaupas to our Axis family in Silverthorne. Axis has the most advanced certified physical therapists in the state of Colorado, and our new Physical Therapist is no exception. Hailing from right here in Summit County, Erin is a DPT, Certified Orthopedic Manual therapist, and is certified in Trigger Point Dry Needling Level 2. Max joins us as our new Patient Coordinator, and is a true local, born in Summit County! Max recently graduated from CU Boulder with a degree in Integrated Physiology with an interest in Healthcare.
More than anything, we are excited to be able to expand our space to continue to provide the highest standard of care to more clients and members of our community; from elite athletes to the casually active. We love living and working in this special, #KickAxis Colorado mountain community with people from all walks of life. And of course, we look forward to our patients being able to find a parking spot on a Friday during ski season!
Our old location closes Friday, June 28th, and our new space at 1281 Blue River Pkwy will be ready for clients on Monday, July 1st! We will be celebrating our Grand Opening with a Wellness Week, from July 8-11. Local fitness instructors and certified health enthusiasts will be teaching FREE 1-hour Yoga, Pilates, N’Balance, Impact, and Boot Camp classes, as well as a Sports Nutrition Seminar, in our new space. See the schedule below for details. We cap off our Wellness Week with an Open House on Friday, July 12, from 4-7pm.
