Why do you think your physical therapy business was voted the Best of Summit?
Axis Sports Medicine is a locally owned and operated Physical Therapy company with 6 locations in Summit and Eagle Counties. Established in 2012, Axis is celebrating 10 years of exceptional, personalized patient care in our mountain communities. We are passionate about working together, to get our clients back to doing the things they love. We were recently awarded the highest level of Distinction by the Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) for quality patient care.
Why is this recognition important to your business?
The success of our business is in large part due to the loyalty and feedback of our incredible clients. We value our community and are grateful for their vote of confidence and continued support in voting us Best of Summit for 7 years running; since this category was created!
What sets your physical therapy business apart?
Unlike many bigger physical therapy entities, Axis Sports Medicine is a unique, therapist-owned and operated physical therapy company, independent of a large hospital organization or orthopedic group. This enables us to provide the most affordable rates in the mountain region, with the lowest self-pay fees. In addition, we continue to expand specialty services to include Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, Total Joint Replacement, Trigger Point Dry Needling, Pelvic Health, Concussion Management, Parkinson’s and Vestibular Rehab, to name a few.
What makes Summit County a great place to do business?
Our active healthy community shares in our passion to promote health and wellness with the common goal of living your best life. As an independent physical therapy group, we are able to collaborate with world class surgeons and physicians, hospital partners and community outreach programs right here in our backyard.
How does your business give back to the community?
We are thrilled to support many local athletes through our Ambassador Program by keeping them healthy on their way to every start line.
Axis sponsors non-profit organizations such as The Cycle Effect and Keystone Science School to provide in-kind services. In addition, we support local youth programs by providing volunteer event coverage, concussion baseline testing and mentorship. We volunteer with forest clean up and fire mitigation projects around our communities and proudly award a Summit High School Scholarship annually.
