Girls in STEM: Medical Explorers

Get ready for an unforgettable adventure with Keystone Science School’s Girls in STEM: Medical Explorers! 

This incredible program, happening from April 19-21, 2024, is a collaboration with the brilliant minds at Steadman Philippon Research Institute. If you’re a curious 4th to 8th-grade female or non-binary student, this is your chance to dive headfirst into the thrilling world of medical research careers.

During this immersive weekend, you’ll explore the state-of-the-art facilities at Steadman Philippon Research Institute and participate in hands-on lab activities that showcase how orthopedic injuries are studied. You’ll even build a model knee and learn about cutting-edge technologies like biomotion, robotics, surgery, and regenerative medicine.

But that’s not all—you’ll also have the opportunity to connect with amazing women who are crushing it in medical research. They’ll share their inspiring stories about navigating a male-dominated industry and empower you to dream big and forge your own path in STEM.

Girls in STEM: Film Fest

Get ready for an unforgettable weekend of creativity and empowerment at Keystone Science School’s Girls in STEM Film Fest, happening September 20-22, 2024. 

In partnership with the Breckenridge Film Festival, this program is open to any female student currently enrolled in 4th-8th grade who dreams of exploring the exciting world of filmmaking.

Throughout the weekend, participants will have the unique opportunity to learn from and work alongside various inspiring women currently making waves in the film industry. From cinematographers and directors to editors and producers, these talented mentors will share their expertise and guide students through creating their own short films.

The weekend culminates in a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for participants to showcase their work during a special event at the Breckenridge Film Festival. Family and friends are invited to join in the celebration and watch as these budding filmmakers walk the red carpet and present their short films on the big screen.

But the best part? Keystone Science School is committed to making this transformative experience accessible to all. With sliding scale fees, scholarships, and even free transportation from local schools, they are ensuring that every creative mind has the chance to participate and shine.

Avon + Edwards are Joining Forces

After much thought and evaluation by our team, we have decided to consolidate our Edwards clinic into our Avon clinic location. 

Our staff and resources from our Edwards location will be moved into our Avon clinic on October 31, 2023.

We are excited to be able to offer a wider option of appointment times to accommodate patient needs in one location.

Our Avon location is 142 E Beaver Creek Blvd, Suite 109, next door to Doctors on Call and Kiwi International Delights.
